Internet Addiction

Have you ever forgotten your children at school, because you were so busy, and spend so much time on Internet? If you have, maybe you are Internet addict. The solutions for limiting your Internet time are turning off your phone, doing more sports, limiting your time at night and reducing the number of social networks.

First, sometimes, you should turn off your phone. If you are an Internet addict, you will spend too much time on Internet, and you will not limit your time. Turn off your phone. You can do something else, and you will not forget to do homework, or work.

Next, you should limit your night time use of the internet.  Today, nearly 85% of teenagers sleep with their phones on or near their beds. Because they don't limit their time at night, it caused them to be seriously sleep deprived, and that affects their health, their mood and their safety behind the wheel. If you limit your time, it will be good for you, and you will not get tired when you wake up.

Finally, you should cut down the number of social networks you use.  Teenagers today are more likely use social network: 41% Facebook, 20% Instagram, 11% Snapchat. Boys are more likely than girls to use Facebook, and girls are more likely than boys to use Instagram and Snapchat. Parents encourage them to shut down social media while working online for homework or engaging in a conversation. Shutting down social networks can let you reduce the temptation of social network, and you will feel better than before.

One activity instead of surfing the internet is go out walking or running, doing more activities and sports instead of wasting time using the Internet. Do more sport! You can lose weight, and be healthy. Going out, looking at the sky, staying in nature can repair your eyes' vision. Doing more sport or activities can also help you to be more active.

In my opinion, you shouldn't stay too often in front of your phone. Go out with your friends, or travel to other places, read more books, help your family working, do more sports, or some activities can help you to be healthier and safer. Anyway, if you don't spend your time on the Internet, you can do more things than you can imagine!

  1. This is a very interesting blog. I totally agree with you about what you wrote because we have some similar ideas. But I think we can use our phone but not to much, only for the things we really need. The percentages you have written are good and allow us to understand that maybe we are not the only ones to be possibly addict to the Internet. You give very good advice, which I think, can really help people to see more clearly and stop their addiction to the Internet. Thanks for your blog!
