INTERNET ADDICTION 

                                          

Did you ever notice the bad effects that Internet addiction can cause you? Many people, nowadays, have bad physical effects and loss of sleep, caused by the Internet addiction. Usually people text and surf on the internet before sleeping. This can cause effects on people's health, humor and low grades or bad results at work. By now, we joke often that our children are inseparable from their smartphones, but the addiction has become a serious problem.


It's not difficult to see using addicts their phones, even at the dinner table. Some studies were usually people feel panicked that when they do not have their phones. They called this phobia "nomophobia". They say that the person suffers when the phone is removed. There are four ways in which children can be harmed by Internet addiction in terms of health.


First, brain functions and chemical changes can occur. Second, the link between cell phones and radiations may cause some problems. Researchers discovered that the continuous use of cell phones can double the risk for brain cancer and other diseases. Third, we may have mobility problems two to smartphone use. It can cause problems to the back and elbows, since we always use the same position. For example, the bone of my pinkie is deformed because I use it to hold the phone. And lastly, the addiction can have effects on sleep. Technology is leading us to the lack of sleep.


Almost everybody, adults and teenagers, text before going to sleep. Night texting can affect teenagers' grades and can bring to the loss of sleep. It's stated that the people who stop texting before the lights are out, can have a better performance in school and during the day. Those, instead, who go to sleep after the lights are out do not have much energy and are more tired.


In conclusion, there are ways to stop, or at least reduce the internet addiction and the night texting. Maybe there should be more places where teens can spend their time, instead of wasting it on their phones; find new interests and hobbies and try to limit themselves for the night texting. People should understand the importance and the real effects of the late texting and abuse. Limiting the use of your phone during the day and at night, you will be healthier, live longer, and get better grades.

  3. when i start reading your blog i had many expectations because of you title. "internet addiction" contains many things but you mainly wrote about its negative affect of health. you said that almost everybody texts at night, but don't think so. do you have any evidence? you are right about the bad affects of internet on our health but internet also has many benefits like quick information and communication. i like your ideas about reducing the internet use. Thanks for informing us!

  4. It is a really nice and deep blog. My fingers are deformed too because of holding the phone too often. I totally agree what you wrote. The mid night texting it is really effecting out student´s grade. Everytime when I sleep late because of texting before sleeping, it is so hard to put my phone down and go to sleep even if I am sleepy. And the second day it is a bit hard to concentrate in class. Thank you for writing this blog, you did a really nice job.

  5. This was a really nice made blog, I really liked the choice of the examples you included, they were different from the usual ones, and you also included one of your personal facts. I also liked the choice of the images, they were very pretty. I particularly enjoyed your conclusion and agree with what is said, i also think we should unplug our "cell phone life" and start opening up our eyes to the real world. I very much agree with what you said about the "deformed finger" due to the phone because i know various people with that problem. Thank you for writing about this issue and i really appreciated the face you included a personal fact, which made it more original.

  6. Nice blog! I enjoyed watching it! The images cought my attention. Is true that the fingers hurts when you use a lot of hours the phone. The conclusion was a good summary about everything you already wrote!
